Worried about Your Brain
Hey, it’s Dr. Martin here…
A lot of people are quietly worried about their brain. Maybe it’s forgetting names more often. Or walking into a room… and not remembering why.
Or having to re-read the same line in a book three times before it sticks

Here’s the problem…
Almost everyone today is low in it.
We used to get DHA from the fish we ate… From wild meat… From diets that were closer to nature.
But today…Most people barely eat fish at all. And the fish they do eat…Usually farmed…Has far less DHA than it used to.
In fact…Studies show farmed salmon can have 50% to 70% less DHA than wild salmon. That means even if you’re eating fish. You might still be starving your brain.
On top of that…We’re drowning in vegetable oils. Corn oil, soybean oil, canola oil… They’re in almost every processed food. These are loaded with omega-6 fats…Which fight for space in your cells against omega-3s like DHA.
The balance used to be about 2:1 (omega-6 to omega-3).
Today…It’s closer to 20:1.
That means you’re eating about 20 times more omega-6 than omega-3. And that’s bad news. Because when that ratio gets this high…Inflammation runs wild. Your memory takes a hit.
Your risk for Alzheimer’s, heart problems, vision loss, and joint pain all climb. It’s like pouring gasoline on the very fire that burns your brain and body.
So what happens when your brain runs low on DHA?
Memory fades.
Focus weakens.

What happens when you eat too many Christmas cookies?
The holiday season brings an abundance of irresistible sugary treats, but indulging too much can have hidden consequences.
