Warnings When You Open Up a Prescription
We all know that taking
drugs has a downside called side effects. It is part of the gamble you
take when you and your doctor feel that a medication is necessary to
combat a major medical issue. Most people trust their doctors
advice and know that he/she will be monitoring their progress.
Now here is the but.....
what if you don't realize that something going on with you is really a
side effect A medical doctor can only go on what side effects you
report. You have to realize that there are so many medications and
so many possible side effects that it might be hard for the doctor to
know everything about that drug that you were just prescribed. The
doctor needs some help.
Before you put a drug in your mouth, it is wise to read the warnings of
possible side effects. It comes with the medication when you pick
it up at a pharmacist. If you do have any problems, you can
communicate it to your doctor and work out what to do.
This article is about a
antibiotic with major side effects. It gives you a real life
example of why you should read the warnings.

Fish Oil Supports Nerve Health
The
Mayo Clinic has a lot to say about the benefits of Omega-3 fatty acids
(fish oil). You can find out more by using this link: Mayo
Clinic Information on Fish Oil.
Evidence indicates that fish oil ingredients, EPA and DHA, play an
important role in the support of a healthy heart, arteries, nerves, and
body.
Other evidence also indicates that DHA supports healthy vision, heart
function, nerve function, and also helps support normal cholesterol
levels.
It then follows that the higher the Omega-3 (EPA & DHA) content of
the fish oil, the more it will nutritionally support and help your body
to maintain normal body functions, and more importantly, normal nerve
function.
Not all fish oils are the same. We suggest you read about the RHP

Why
Does Your Body Make 3000 mg of Cholesterol Each Day?
Isn’t that wild! But it’s true…your body makes over
3000 mg of cholesterol every day. That’s equivalent to 1 pound of butter
or 300 strips of bacon or 14 eggs
If your body makes that much, why is Cholesterol considered bad?
See Dr. Berg's video and find out!

Dental Health - Does it
Mean Brushing Your Teeth
Have you ever been scolded
by your dentist because you didn't keep proper dental hygiene?
Where you told it was sugar that caused the bacteria to decay you
teeth? Did you brush every day, floss every day and come in every
6 months to have a dental hygienist clean your teeth.
Did it
work?
Well there is much much more to dental health than this.

Your Nerves - R-Alpha Lipoic Acid and Acetyl
L-Carnitine
What
is R-Alpha Lipoic Acid?
Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is made by the body and is
found in every cell, where it helps turn glucose into energy.
Antioxidants attack "free-radicals," waste products created
when the body turns food into energy.
Free-radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells in
the body. Antioxidants can get rid of free-radicals and may reduce or
help prevent some of the damage they cause.
Other antioxidants work only in water (such as vitamin C) or fatty
tissues (such as vitamin E), but alpha-lipoic acid is both fat- and
water-soluble. That means it can work throughout the body.
Antioxidants in the body are used up as they attack free-radicals, but
evidence suggests alpha-lipoic acid may help regenerate these other
antioxidants and make them active again.
Alpha lipioc acid comes in two forms. R and S. Alpha lipoic acid is a
combination of these two forms.
The R form of alpha lipoic acid is the form normally found in the body.
Studies indicate the R-alpha lipoic acid form appears to be better
absorbed than the combination of R and S alpha lipoic acid.
Evidence also indicates that alpha lipoic acid has an ability to kill
free-radicals which may help support healthy nerves.
What is Acetyl L-Carnitine?
Acetyl L-Carnitine is a type of carnitine which is a substance that
helps the body turn fat into energy. Your body makes carnitine in the
liver and kidneys and stores it in the skeletal muscles, heart, and
brain. Acetyl L-carnitine acts as an antioxidant.
Some small preliminary studies suggest acetyl L-carnitine may also help
support healthy nerves.
We are pleased to be able to provide you with a nutritional supplement
called the RHP Nerve & Energy Booster which contains acetyl L-carnitine
and R-alpha lipoic acid.
Evidence indicates that taking acetyl L-carnitine and R-alpha lipoic
acid together resulted in even greater results than either ingredient
alone.
